Welcome to the City of Tipton, Indiana, the county seat of Tipton County, located in the beautiful heartland of central Indiana. We are conveniently located between the urban centers of Kokomo and northern Indianapolis and provide an escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Tipton is a community with rich agricultural heritage, wholesome small-town values, and successful businesses built from the hard work of our citizens.  Our community is home to many great amenities, a first-class school system, wonderful parks & outdoor opportunities, as well as state-of-the-art health care facilities.  Having raised 4 children in the community, my wife Christi and I can attest to Tipton’s safe, family-friendly environment that provides a wonderful setting for raising a family.  Tipton is a wonderful place to live a lifetime.
