INTERNAL CONTROLS TRAINING
On August 22nd, 2016 an Ordinance establishing Internal Control Standards was adopted by the Tipton City Common Council. Per I.C. 5-11-1-27 any employee who has control over purchasing goods, handling monies or making financial decisions on behalf of the City of Tipton must complete this training and file a certificate of training with the City Clerk-Treasurer's office.
Each Department is responsible for making sure all of their employees watch the 26 minute video below and complete a training certificate no later than November 30th, 2016. A link to the training certificate and the ordinance is located on the Clerk-Treasurer's home page under "Useful Links".
