Children's Immunizations
The Tipton County Health Department offers a weekly immunization clinic for routine childhood immunizations. Our clinic operates on an appointment basis. Please call (765) 675-8741 to schedule an appointment.
It is best to call for your child’s first appointment by the age of one month. It is strongly recommended that you follow your physician’s recommendations for well-child visits.
We are a proud VFC provider. The Vaccines For Children (VFC) program is a federal program that provides vaccines at no cost to children who might not otherwise be vaccinated because of inability to pay. There is no charge for the vaccines administered by an enrolled VFC provider. However, providers are allowed to charge a standard fee to help cover the costs of administering the vaccines, that cost is $10 per visit.
If you carry health insurance, we can file a claim form for you. We do this by utilizing a third-party billing company called VaxCare. Please contact your insurance company to determine eligibility prior to your appointment.
